Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: March 20, 2026
1. Your Right to Data Deletion
At Ainvented, we respect your right to control your personal data. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. This includes data collected through our integrations with third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, and Google.
2. What Data We Store
When you connect your social media accounts to Ainvented, we store:
- OAuth access tokens (used to publish content on your behalf)
- Your platform user ID (to identify your account)
- Your name and profile information (as provided during OAuth)
- Content you create within the platform (creative projects, workflows)
- Publishing history (which posts were published and when)
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data using any of the following methods:
Option A: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@ainvented.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your Ainvented account
- Which platform connections you want removed (or "all data")
Option B: In-App Account Deletion
Log in to your Ainvented account, go to Profile Settings, and click "Delete Account". This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Option C: Disconnect Individual Platforms
To remove data for a specific platform only (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), go to your project's Connectors settings and click the disconnect button next to the platform. This will delete the stored tokens and platform-specific data.
4. What Happens When You Request Deletion
Upon receiving your deletion request, we will:
- Revoke all stored OAuth access tokens for connected platforms
- Delete your account information from our database
- Delete all creative projects, workflows, and generated content
- Remove all connector configurations and publishing history
- Delete any uploaded images from our storage servers
Data deletion will be completed within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
5. Data We Cannot Delete
Please note that we cannot delete:
- Content already published to third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X). You must delete published posts directly on those platforms.
- Data that we are required to retain for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes (e.g., billing records, fraud prevention).
- Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you.
6. Revoking Platform Access
In addition to requesting data deletion from Ainvented, you can revoke our app's access directly on each platform:
- Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove "Ainvented"
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove "Ainvented"
- LinkedIn: Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Other applications → Remove "Ainvented"
- Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Remove "Ainvented"
